7 Reasons the Ketogenic Diet Sucks
I decided its time to get brutally honest and talk about why eating keto is actually the suckiest thing ever.
Its time I came clean and told you the truth.
There are certain hardships I am having to put up with and I think you deserve to know what these are.
As such I am providing 7 pieces of evidence to show exactly why eating keto sucks:
I have got so much more energy now that there is no excuse for not getting the housework done. Not only this, I have to deal with being on top of my work, the kids stuff, birthdays, christmas and generally being in control of my life.
Now that Im not thinking about food all the time I have to use my brain space for other things, such as having fun with the kids, how I can give back and help other people and where Id like to go on holiday.
Now that Im not 30lbs overweight anymore I have had to get used to enjoying clothes shopping again (what a drag).
I cant spend money on expensive face powder and foundation cover-up for my skin anymore because I dont need it. I also occasionally have to put up with comments about looking well and looking great. pffffft.
I have to get up early every morning and have some me time before the rest of the house wakes up because I sleep so much better and need less of it. This results in me having nice and pleasant mornings with the children before they go to school, so they are also affected by this.
Day in day out I have to enjoy my food because its so delicious. (Please dont underestimate the importance of this one, it happens up to three times a day and sometimes more).
Every time I wake up I just know Im going to have to deal with THAT feeling again. (The one where you feel like life is full of possibilities because you are finally free from food addiction).
In short, I have become a different person and my life has improved immeasurably.
